As a custom builder, each home is designed for our clients’ unique needs – so we don’t have standardised display homes to take you through. However, you can view a collection of our finished projects on the website, and we’re happy to take you through examples of similar projects.
As a builder, we can’t confirm what Australian government grants you may be eligible for – the best strategy is to check the Revenue WA website for details about both State and Federal grants. This includes grant eligibility when building a home and instructions on how to apply for grants.

Yes we do! We’re proud to offer high-end renovation services for the Perth region, including collaboration with our in-house designer and approvals assistance.

At Central Avenue Homes, we make it simple with a signature 6-step process:
1. Design & Costing
2. Preliminary Agreement
3. Development Approval
4. Pre-start Meeting
5. Building Approval & Contracts
6. Construction

We prefer to have the title plan when we embark on design and costing, as our site assessment and the block itself are major factors in the design process. However, if you aren’t at that stage yet, we’re happy to discuss your requirements generally and help you find out if Central Avenue Homes is the right builder for you.
It takes around 3 weeks to prepare a detailed quotation following a meeting to discuss your requirements.
Our upfront quotes and estimates are highly accurate due to our industry experience and ongoing contractor relationships. However, overall costs for all major elements of the design will be confirmed at the PPA (Preparation of Plans Agreement) stage.

We require payment of 4% of the total value upon PPA (Preparation of Plans Agreement) stage and 2.5% of the total value upon signing the building contract. At this stage, we also require proof of finance before we go any further into construction.

I engaged Central Avenue Homes to design and build my rear strata investment property in Yokine. I had originally been to a couple of volume builders but the reps I was dealing with really did not have the experience and I lost confidence quickly. At Central Avenue I was dealing with the builder and my first meeting was with him and their designer which was vastly different to the larger builders. They managed to design a great home inside my budget and the job was completed in good time to a great finish They were also flexible enough so I could complete a couple of things myself which really helped.

Absolutely! There’s scope in each of our projects for custom design. You’ll be able to work one-on-one with our in-house designer Ashleigh, who can assist in transferring your ideas into a practical and actionable home design.
As long as you have the rights to bring the design to us – for instance, the copyright isn’t held by another company – we can work with an existing design. We can also make modifications or take inspiration from an existing design in the process of creating a custom home for you.
